About DH Peck & the EZ Way

Hello, My name is Doran Peck,

After quite a few years on the planet, I realize that it is not about making the perfect plan for reaching success…but at least moving forward, is the more critical to reaching success.

I know the "perilous journey of businessing" because I’ve lived it from many angles. I’ve survived the streets of New York City as a package messenger living on dollar cheeseburgers, and I’ve climbed the corporate ladder working with some of the best marketing talent in the world at Saks Fifth Avenue and also serving as the executive assistant to a premier consultant for brands like Tiffany & Co. and Elizabeth Arden. But here’s the thing: while I’ve seen how the world's biggest brands think, and maneuver to win, my path today is with fellow local business owners making their way to the top. Over the last two decades in Idaho, I’ve worked in print shops, managed retail outlets, and been a small business owner myself. I know that for you, every dollar and every hour has to count. It's easy to feel stuck in the "marketing trap". You’re either overpaying an agency for things you don't understand, or you’re exhausted from trying to wear every single hat alone.

I created this service, to be the guide I wish I could have used earlier in life. It’s a little bit of an "anti-agency" approach, but that's because I’m not here to sell you a complex system or a massive overhaul that you don't have the time to manage. Instead, I "ride on your shoulder" to provide the little nudges of focus you need within the chaos. Whether it’s a simple DIY website, low-cost print pricing, or a savvy campaign, my goal is to empower you to take the wheel.

Without a simple, consistent plan, most owners end up treading water chasing every "shiny object" or trying to launch massive advertising projects that eventually lead to burnout. I believe in a different way. Find the few points of light within the chaos, and keep them lit. In due time, progress further.

I remember when I was a little kid, and my room was a big overwhelming mountain of mess and impossible to conquer. My dad would say something like…”Well, find all your pants first and put them away. Then stand back and see a smaller pile”…and as he’d walk away he’d say… “Make sure you look at it” …it wasn’t until later years, I understood his genius. Seeing the smaller pile was motivating, and focusing on an accessible task, was a real win. Small wins add up quick.

Winning at business It’s an exercise in small steps of consistent, forward motion. You stay hands-on, you stay in control, and you outplay the competition through easy wins that actually get done.
